RESOURCES

We have access to valuable resources, tools, and support that strengthen our work and help our teams make a greater impact.

An interactive map that shows the locations of alternative fueling stations in the United States and Canada.

This tool uses basic information about your driving habits to calculate total cost of ownership and emissions for makes and models of most vehicles, including alternative fuel and advanced technology vehicles.

Find case studies and success stories about alternative transportation technologies, including alternative fuels, advanced vehicles, and regulated fleets.

Argonne has developed the Alternative Fuel Life-Cycle Environmental and Economic Transportation (AFLEET) Tool for Clean Cities stakeholders to estimate petroleum use, greenhouse gas emissions, air pollutant emissions, and cost of ownership of light-duty and heavy-duty vehicles using simple spreadsheet inputs.

This tool provides a simple way to estimate how much electric vehicle charging you might need and how it affects your charging load profile. You can watch our training video for the tool HERE.

The Alternative Fuels Data Center (AFDC) provides information, data, and tools to help fleets and other transportation decision makers find ways to reach their energy and economic goals through the use of alternative and renewable fuels, advanced vehicles, and other fuel-saving measures.

Hotel Electric Vehicle Charging Station Guide

Traveling over 11,000 miles on our coast-to-coast EV road trips, we recognized a pressing need for more hotel EV charging stations. Drawing from the experience we gained during these journeys, we aimed to transform our knowledge into a guide that serves as a valuable resource for both the general public and the hotel industry. This guide is thoughtfully designed to assist hotels on their path to EV readiness, encompassing information on various charging station types, installation procedures, and best practices.

Our goal in sharing this guide is to foster a sustainable and electrified future where both travelers and the hotel industry can embrace EV technology with confidence.

You can access the full guide HERE.
